PistonHeads @ Le Mans Classic 2012 (6th - 8th July)

Following the ongoing success of the PH/1st Tickets private site at the Le Mans 24 Hours and PH members feedback via the online poll, We are delighted to announce details of the PistonHeads/1st Tickets private campsite for the Le Mans Classic.

The will be situated at our normal place on Bleu Nord, which is only a short walk to the circuit and less than 15 minutes from the grandstands and pits. The area will be shared with the Aston Martin Owners club and will continue to have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The site is planned to be 6000m2 with approximately 100 spaces for PHers and will have the following facilities for the exclusive use of campers at the site:

  • Fresh Coffee
  • Charging Point
  • Limited number of larger camping pitches (5m x 10m)
  • Access restricted to private campers only

Track Laps and Club Enclosure: Every fancied driving the full Le Mans Circuit?     We have a limited number of track laps with club enclosure parking on the Bugatti Circuit available for PHers at the Le Mans Classic! To qualify your car needs to be in perfect condition and either built pre 1966 or one of the makes and models on the organisers "Happy Few" list (click here for the eligibility list).

Our packages includes channel crossing via Eurotunnel or Ferry (Dover – Calais) , camping pitch, general entry to the circuit, paddock access and special delivery. Prices are per person, based on a standard sized vehicle and five day crossing. (A supplement will be charged for longer crossing durations, large vehicles and alternative crossing routes).

Access to the site is from Thursday 5th July and departure by midday Monday 9th July and there are a limited number of spaces available.
